Wallaby Legend Nathan Sharpe steps in to play for the MRP Reds

Wallaby legend Nathan Sharpe, one of our Modified Rugby Program (MRP) Ambassadors joined us for a game on Saturday at Brothers’ Hutchinson Park (formally known as Windsor Park). As we were a player down, he jumped in to fill in for the MRP Red team. Whilst the Blue Team was initially a little concerned, Nathan demonstrated his legendary sportsmanship by ensuring the game was evenly balanced.

“Nathan really helped bring the MRP Players and PlayerMentors together on the field and his advice and feedback was invaluable, ” said MRP ParentCoach and GingerCloud Foundation Director Anthony Elliott.

Nathan was always encouraging and supportive, modelling many of his natural leadership qualities for the PlayerMentors. We can’t wait to have him back again for further games,” Mr Elliott said.

Nathan Sharpe…A true Wallaby Legend!

Wallaby Legends Tim Horan AM and Nathan Sharpe are joint Ambassadors for the Modified Rugby Program (MRP) and are actively involved in the PlayerMentor Leadership Program. The PlayerMentor Leadership Program, delivered via short videos featuring Nathan Sharpe and Tim Horan will cover eight key mentoring and leadership topics. On completion of the program, each PlayerMentor will receive a Certificate of Participation signed by both Nathan and Tim.
