The MRP travels to Townsville for our first training session.

Last Thursday and Friday nights, Brothers Rugby Union Club in Townsville hosted its first MRP training session and game.

Brothers is the first Rugby Club in Townsville to add the MRP to their rugby divisions. The Modified Rugby Program (MRP) is a new, modified form of touch-only rugby, developed by GingerCloud Foundation, where each boy and girl with a learning and perceptual disability has their own club PlayerMentor on the field supporting them.

The Brothers MRP Players and PlayerMentors had lots of fun and can't wait to get back to training next week.

Thank you so much to our Official 2017/2018 Partner the Qld Department of Housing and Public Works for the $30,000 Sponsorship to help increase the accessibility of the Modified Rugby Program (MRP) across communities in Toowoomba and Townville.

Thanks so much to Amelia from Seven Townsville for this great story on our first Modified Rugby Program (MRP) team at Brothers in Townsville. Thanks to everyone at Brothers Rugby Union Club Townsville Brothers Junior Rugby Union Club Townsville and @TDRU - Townsville and District Rugby Union for all your support. The smiles on faces say it all!

If you are interested in your child participating in the MRP we have 4 more positions available so please PM here, call 07 3547 9090 or email
